Suggestions?

Alright, I need help. Please.

I'm sick of my blog being a "dear diary, today..." sort of blog. Nobody cares. Heck, I don't even care to type that stuff. I've already gone through the day, why do I need to post about it?

So this is where you come in, all three? of my faithful readers, if indeed you are faithful.

If you have any suggestions of what I can dedicate my blog to, please let me know. Just leave me a comment. For example, if you think I should critique something or if I should have a word of the day, or a quote of the day, or even a whole poem of the day. Maybe I could read book reviews and suggest to my readers a book that sounds interesting? I don't know - please help. You can take one of the things I just listed and alter it as you please. Or come up with something completely off the wall. As many suggestions as I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Deciding Against.

I don't think I'm going to to critiques on here anymore. I didn't even do one, I know, but I guess I just fell out of the mood to do them. Critiquing books sounded like a fun thing for a while, but I don't get time enough to actually read a whole book within the period of, let's say, a month. Shane's going to be doing movie critiques on his blog so you should check it out - there's a link for his blog to the right.

It's stormy and rainy and thundery outside. It's pretty awesome. But it's going to turn to snow sometime. I just don't think we're going to get hit as hard as some people are saying. But we'll see. I could be very very wrong. Probably am.

Well, I'm going to go finish getting ready and stuff.

Nap!

I was so close to taking a nap this afternoon. But I couldn't fall asleep. So, I read The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I got two and a half chapters finished. I can't wait until I get the book done so I can tell you all what I thought of it. So far I am loving it!

I work tonight and tomorrow afternoon until eight. Sunday, Shane and I are going to Wilcox for church and just hanging around Wilcox and stuff. There's a movie thing at the church Sunday night that I wouldn't mind going to, but I'm afraid it might end up being the younger bunch. So, I don't know. *shrug*

I love my new computer chair - it spins. It's sweet.

The Week Ends.

I must have been tired. Shane and I were going to go to breakfast at 7:30 - hm, I woke up at 9:30. At least I woke up before class, right?

We watched The Prestige last night. It was good, but honestly not as good as I was expecting. Michael Caine was amazing - but I'm biased, he's been one of my favorite actors for a long time. The magic was fun to watch and the overlying story of cheating and competition was good, but I little slow to get started. There's a good surprise at the end of the movie as to who the antagonist really is. (I would love to give a full critic of the movie, but I don't want to give it away to anyone. You'll just have to watch it and then talk to me about it or something. Ha.)

Hm, I think I might start doing critics on my blog. How fun would that be? Now I just have to find things to critic. Like...uhm...hair-dos? And shoestrings? Yes, that'd be great!

I went to Walmart today to get my paycheck. It wasn't as much as I was hoping it was going to be - but it'll do for now.

I bought myself a new computer desk chair. It's all rolly and spinny and I love it! I don't think that's how you spell either of those words. Oh well. Who's going to turn me in?

I'm kind of hyper slash not hyper today. We'll see how the day turns out.

The Prestige is out on DVD. I just got it. Haven't watched it yet, but we're going to tonight. Can't wait. I'll let you know how it was. :)

Beautiful Wednesday.

Save for the fact that I have to work this evening Wednesday is turning out to be a fabulous day!

Woke up early to go to breakfast with Shane, hung out with Shane between classes, at lunch with Shelly, Mandy and Shane, went to my other class. And now I'm just sitting here at my computer, basking in the wonderful breeze coming through the open windows, and waiting until it's time for me to head to work.

It's so beautiful out I don't want to work. Blech. Oh well, it's only five hours tonight - I think I can manage that.

Speaking of work...they hired a new full-time ladieswear girl. I didn't think we needed another girl in ladieswear. They need one back in girls and boys wear but noooo we get her. And she's full-time. This, basically, has me worried that I'm going to get fired or bumped back to some other department 'cause she overlaps mine and Kathy's house (we're both part-time.)

I don't know. And the worst part is...she doesn't do anything. On Monday she was there for eight or nine hours, I was there for five. In that five hours I did everything...and even fit in time to zone accessories and cover some breaks. She did nothing except stand at the fitting room and doodle. What's up with that?

But it's over - the whole kiddie, "I'm bitter, you're bitter, we're bitter" thing. I guess. It probably never really started.

Smelly Stuff Happens.

Okay, so I've heard of lame high school break-ups like this, but a friendship, now that's just harsh.

I guess there's this friend that I used to have. I'm not really sure where we stand anymore. She sort of broke up with me on MySpace. You know those breakups, where it's like "Oh, you're not on my Top Friends anymore, so we're like totally broken up. Jerk." Well, okay - she didn't actually say that, but you get it right?

Maybe she has some other reason for taking me off her top friends. And whoa, before I go any farther, I don't mean to sound like I'm hurt that she took me off her top friends. I'm just saying that it's a little childish to just take me off of there because we haven't been hanging out that much lately, or because we don't live together anymore. Even inseparable best friends separate long enough to take a piss.

Maybe I'm just taking everything out of proportion and maybe I feel guilty about something so I think this is all about me. But I don't know -

If taking me off your Top Friends on MySpace is going to constitute the end of our friendship for you, then good. I'm glad you could find a way to do it that's not so painful. I'm over it, too.

Is It Over Yet?

It's only Tuesday evening and I'm wanting this week over with. I have an about five-page British Literature paper to finish. I'm getting close. I need to vacuum my room. I need to do laundry. And tonight is American Idol and House. Can't miss those. Gah.

Warm orange juice is a little nauseating.

Took a walk with Shane a little while ago. Then we went to dinner. Now we're both sitting in my room on our computers. We're just like that.

I had my Criminal Justice test today - our first one. It's pretty up in the air how well I did. Just have to wait and see.

I scheduled an eye appointment today. Woo. For the ninth of March. It's a Friday for all you anti-calendar people.

It's windy outside, but really nice. However, it's supposed to snow tonight after eleven. Why won't it just stop!?

My fishies died this morning - erm, last night?

And actually, only two died by themselves. We had to kill the third - which was Gus.

Sad. We had a funeral at sea this afternoon after church.

Stupid Guests at Wal*Mart.

I don't know who this guy is but apparently he's some big-wig with Wal*Mart. Soooo...

...gah...we have to make everything extra pretty for him when he visits tomorrow morning. It was ridiculous today! There were so many people helping out in ladieswear I probably could have left and nobody would have missed me - until they realized that the only person that ever smiles in that store wasn't smiling.

The department does look nice though. And I finally got to meet my manager, Teri. Wow, after 4 months I've FINALLY met my manager. She thought it was pretty crazy too, anyway...

I'm eating Wendy's. Shane's on the phone. I need a hug. I'll get one soon.

Saturday.

Reasons to be happy:

The pizza is on it's way.
Taylor came to spend the day in Kearney with me.
I got a new shirt with a Christmas gift card that I still had.
Shane's been spending the day with me also.
I made a few rockin' cool mixes for my car this morning.
I like orange juice.
I got a mini bonsai tree and I can't wait till it grows.
Tonight Taylor, Shane, and I are going to watch Jeff Dunham and Night At The Roxbury.
I'm wearing Shane's hat.

Reasons that might hinder ones happiness:

The pizza isn't here and I'm spending money on it.
I spend too much money. Save! Kaylee, Save!
Taylor has to go back home tomorrow.
I still have forty-one cents left on that blasted gift card at JCPenny.
My cup of orange juice is empty.
I think I'm diabetic.
I haven't planted my mini bonsai tree yet.
Shane's not here so we can't start the movie.
My neck hurts.
I hurt my finger.
I twisted my knee or something this morning getting in the shower.

And yeah, that's all I got.

Falling Asleep To Trespassers William.

You should try it sometime. It's the most relaxing yet modern music out there - alright, maybe not, but it's close. And it's great! I went to bed last night and I realized I hadn't listened to music while I fell asleep for a real long time - not since early Christmas break. So, I did the commendable thing as a sleeper and as a long-time fan of music and put all my Trespassers William songs on my Now Playing list and fell, rightfully, asleep. Beautiful.

My normal two Friday classes today then work from four to nine. And since it's Friday Wal*Mart will probably be pretty busy.

Shane and I rented Saw III last night. I had already seen it in theatres when it first came out. Disturbing. I can't believe I even pretended to watch it last night! Yeah - I didn't do much looking at the screen while it was playing. I was either working away at organizing some homework stuff or hiding behind Shane and attempting to plug my ears with one hand and his shoulder - all the while giving out little occasional whines and shudders. Blech, that movie was gross. Not watching it ever again! Nope nope nope. And everyone that knows Kaylee knows that she doesn't scare easily - I guess I wasn't scared watching this movie, I was more on the verge of throwing up dinner.

I'm excited for Saturday. I'm going to head down to Wilcox and pick up Taylor and some stuff I'm going to need in my dorm room. Then Taylor and I are going to spend the day together and she'll stay here that night. It's going to be great fun!

Internet Slow.

The internet is going pretty dang slow right now. That's okay. I don't need to be off this here post-create page for awhile.

Shane is sleeping. We stayed in Axtell last night and he's still tired. So...he's sleeping in my room. And we're going to lunch here in a bit.

My fishies are sickly. I called the place I got them and asked what could be wrong. They said it was probably either fungus in the tank or the sucker fish that I have was beating them up. My guess, now, is that the sucker fish is a big mean jerkface. Because there's no fungus in the tank, and no worms. Sooo...I'm going to make Gregory be nice to Gus and Giles or else...I'm gonna have to flush him...and I don't want to do that. Maybe I can just take him back to the place I got him?

I'm real hungry. Gurgle gurgle growl says Kaylee's tummy.

Class from 12:30 to 3:15, then I am taking a nap or something.

I missed American Idol last night. I'm sorta bummed about that. But I was hot-tubbing at Shane's house so it's all good.

Shane and I are dressing up all nice today. I'm all dressed, make-uped, and I have my hair done. Shane's still sleeping. Poor sleepy Shane.

Another Week Ahead.

Yup, I have another week to get through. Today is Shane's and mine one-month. That's real exciting. :) Tomorrow is Tuesday. Yeah, not so exciting. Wednesday is Valentine's Day. I don't have to work so...uhm...yay? Thursday is just Thursday and Friday is just one of those Friday's that I have to work on. I think my sister is going to come stay with me on Saturday until Sunday morning. Then I'll take her home Sunday morning and Shane can come with and we'll go to church down in Wilcox. I believe that will be most fun.

I just wrote my third poem for my poetry class. It's real good. I hope. Well, it's good for me - maybe not so great for my grade in the class at the end of the semester, but we can revise them as much as we need to so that's pretty great.

My computer has been playing real awesome music lately on shuffle. It's thrilling.

I really don't sound so excited today. I think it's because I'm awfully tired. That's, actually, probably, definitely my problem. I think I'm going to lay down and read my book before I have to go to work. I'm reading a book called The Memory Keeper's Daughter. So far it's really good, I've only read the first chapter and a half though. I'll let you know as my reading progresses.

I'm listening to my new Matchbook Romance CD that I got used at Hastings the other day. It's good. It has Tiger Lily on it. It's one of my most favouritest songs now. Yup yup. Shane sings it to me all the time and I love it muchly. He's taking a nap on my bed right now. I think I might go cuddle up with him here in a bit. After I finish this post. Which is now. Cuddly time!

Tattoo.

So we all know I have a tattoo on my back, right? Yes, well as I type this I'm getting another tattoo - on my foot. And really, it's only Sharpie. I drew two tattoos on his arms and now he's drawing on my foot with silver Sharpie. It's gonna be awesome - I don't know what he's drawing though.

I have a Brit Lit paper to do before Tuesday and another thirty-line poem to write for Tuesday's poetry class. I can't remember what the topic was this time. But it'll be a great poem - I can feel it! Ooohhh yeah.

Yay - now I can check out my foot tattoo...

He...Uhm...Shane...he drew a foot on my foot. It's crazy. And now on my other foot I have Trogdor and I drew Trogdor on his back. I'll post all these photos - promise. They're just too good not to post.

Anyway. I have that paper and that poem to work on. Gettin' to it now.

A Decent Day.

Went to work this morning. Ten o'clock. Worked. Covered a lunch break on phones and covered another fifteen minute break a little later in the day. Shane came to see me toward the end of my shift. Made my day a lot better to see him. Always does. He filled out an application there at Wal*Mart. I hope he gets hired there. It'll be good.

Came back to the dorm after renting The Fly II. It was good. So was the first one. Yay for melty-face scenes!

Went to The Spaghetti Shop with Amanda and Shane for dinner. Went back to Amanda's for a bit. Back to my room. Then to the Big Apple for Eric's birthday party thing. It was fun. We had SpiderMan cake. Mmmm. Took photos. Maybe post a couple.

Back in the dorm room. Shane and I are going to watch a movie then I'm going to fall asleep so I can wake up in the morning so he and I can go to church. I love that we go to church together. I feel so much closer to him than I have with any other guy I've dated because we go to church together and because we can actually talk and not argue and fight and...yeah.

Anyway - he just kissed the top of my head. I liked it. Good Night.

However, Shane isn't here yet. He was supposed to be in my room at 10. It's eleven after 10 now. Haha...that's okay. I'll just go soon without him, maybe.

I'm real excited. I don't have to work tomorrow! And I only have to work until 4 on Saturday. Very awesome.

Hm, well I'm getting snails today. I think. Ha. I'm so indecisive today. But that's okay - 'cause it's me. And I have an excuse. I'm tired!

Work and Crackers.

I went to work today. It was so boring. I stood around and did...nothing! I was there for about an hour and fifteen minutes then I was called up front to do a door greeter break for forty-five minutes. Standing. Then I went back to my department. Standing and walking. Then I took a break. Finally sitting. From 8:20 to almost 9 o'clock I stood behind the fitting room counter and answered phones whilst talking with Shane - who awesomely came to see me at work. Awww. So Sweet!

Anyway. Came back from work. Ate tuna and some crackers and now I am posting this awesome blog - dreading doing homework. For poetry tomorrow.

Hello.

This is obviously the first entry on this new blog that I just signed up for. Let's see how this goes, shall we? I had another blog - on angelfire. It started making me angry - thinking about all the crap I've posted on there about certain people whom I no longer want to think about. So, this is my new beginning. I have a new dorm room, a new boyfriend (for almost a month now), a few pairs of new sweat pants, and an amazing new blog to play with. I'm thrilled.

I guess this be it for now. I will try to post just about everyday. Especially if I have something really swell to tell the world.
